Administry

The Ad-ministry staff see their work as a calling from the Lord and an act of worship to him. The field staff cannot do without their invaluable, behind-the-scenes contribution and ministry. The next time you visit the office or make a call, do say hello to these precious people that the Lord has sent our way.

A ministry we cannot do without

By Angeline Koh

You will find them quietly serving attending to phone calls, sorting through paper work, looking after the accounts (making sure we get our pay!), ensuring that guests have clean rooms and beds to sleep on when they check into the dormitory, or just cutting the grass and sprucing up The Navigator building grounds with luscious greenery. The often-taken-for-granted Administration team are a critical support to the smooth operation of The Navigator organisation.

Wendy, who joined the team in 1989, became a Christian through a Navigator congress in 1982 and was later discipled by a Navigator in her church. Later a cell group leader, she wanted to use her area of gifting to serve the Lord in a bigger capacity, so she joined The Navigators as a receptionist. Today, Wendy handles the administration for donor management and receipting.

Judy Chong who joined us in May 2007 is the newest addition to our staff team. While she manages the accounts, from t-Junction (the new TNT youth centre), to missions, to the day-to-day running of the office expenses, she sees her “real” contribution in the area of prayer. Her joining the Navigators was an answer to her prayers for God to open the door for her to serve in the ministry.

David Kou who returned from overseas missions take care of the IT needs and maintenance of our Navigator headquarters. Prior to his stint in East Asia, David served as a staff member in our students ministry.

Serene Seetoh is our youngest staff .She is the assistant to the administrative Director. She is also an active co-laborer with TNT ministry.

Overseeing the entire operations is the Director of Administration, Andrew Ang. On May 15, Andrew became the proud father of a baby boy, Iern Ang. He has two more children- a girl, Kimi and another boy, Egin.
