Dear Navigator friends,

Some of you may have already heard that Roy Robertson, pioneer and founder of The Navigators, Singapore, was called home to glory on 8 May 2008.

Reflecting on Roy’s home call, Lee Robertson (Roy’s son) wrote, “My father’s death came as a shock to me as well, as he’d been so strong and had been praying for five more years of full service. Upon reflection, everything Roy needed to accomplish was done when he went home to be with our Father and Saviour in heaven last week. The best tribute to my parents are the lives of committed disciples all over Singapore and all over the world. Thank you for honouring your spiritual roots.”

We would like to invite you to join us for the Roy Robertson’s memorial service on Sunday, 22 June 2008.

Come join us as we remember and honour our leaders. I know the Lord will use the memorial service to revive and rekindle our love and service to God. Together let us unite and renew our vision to make disciples.

There will be time for those of us who may want to briefly share our memories or encounters with Roy (and Phyllis who was called home six months before Roy). A freewill memorial offering will also be taken for TEL (Training Evangelistic Leadership, Inc) which Roy founded.
