Dear Navigator friends,

Shortly after Jerry Bridges wrote his book “The Pursuit of Holiness” in 1978, he was invited to give a series of lectures based on his book. He titled his lecture, “The chapter I wish I had written.” That lecture became the content of his second book, “The Discipline of Grace.” It led him to more study and reflection and became the content of yet another book, “Transforming Grace.”

For thirty years, veteran Navigator Jerry Bridges has not stopped studying what God has to say on the subject of holiness and grace. He has authored more than 17 books. His latest book being, “Respectable Sins – confronting the sins we tolerate.”

I know we are not short of seminars, workshops, and talks in Singapore, but would you put aside time from your busy schedules to come away and learn from Jerry Bridges as he speaks on “The Pursuit of Holiness” and “The Discipline of Grace” on Saturday, 30 August 2008?

Holiness is not a popular subject today. Yet Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” The Apostle Paul said that we are to “pursue… holiness, without which no one will see God.”
