The NUS mission team left for the Philippines on Monday, May 28.

SENDer* William Tew who is leading the team reports, “We are going to visit a church in Pasay City that reaches out to the urban poor. We will also be ministering to the indigenous people, named Agta in Palanan, situated north east of Luzon Island.

This year, we have 14 people in the team. 12 of them will be with us for the whole trip while two can only come part of the time. Interestingly, our team is made up of people from seven different countries — Malaysia, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Canada, the USA and Brunei.”

The team is scheduled to return on June 23.
