Knowing God: Theology Made Relevant In Discipleship Today

If theology is defined simply as “knowing God”, then theology is for everyone!

Theology is not just for professional theologians or pastors. Theology is for everyone. And whether we realise it or not, everyone has a theology. Because every rational person has a personal view of God. The important question is, do we cultivate a biblical view of God? This is pertinent because our view of God actually defines the way we think and determines the way we live!

This IDMC Conference 2009 is for everyone. It is a wake-up call to develop depth in our understanding of God, intimacy in our relationship with God, and vitality in our discipleship in God. We can only pass on to others what we ourselves have experienced firsthand with God. Therefore, our hearts must be tutored to know God intimately.

May I therefore warmly invite you – and your staff team, your church leaders, your cell group members – to come join us for our IDMC Conference on 27-29 August 2009, at Covenant Evangelical Free Church (Woodlands Centre).
