A new Alumni section in our website

connectOn 27 February 2008, Navigator alumnus Leonard Yeow emailed to suggest “developing an alumni network for all ex-Navigators in Singapore.” We took his suggestion to strengthen connections with our alumni seriously and hence the birth of this “Alumni” section on our website. A similar section has also been created in our bi-monthly newsletter, NavNews. It’s a small start but we will grow it as our alumni connect with us.

The Navigators has been in Singapore since 1962, we are humbled to see how the fruits of our ministries have gone out into the marketplaces, neighbourhoods and into the nations. All these could have been only possible with God.

One of the things on my wish list is to see a greater partnership with Navigator alumni so that we could journey and network together for the advancement of God’s kingdom.

A vision for the world, a heart for the individual – that’s the heartbeat of The Navigators. “The least,” as the prophet Isaiah said, “shall become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.” One of our ten core values states, the dignity and value of every person.

Years ago, our pioneers believed that, and we are seeing the results of their faith. Today, we know by faith that the ones we are relating to now will also bear fruit in God’s time.

What are you learning these days about God? About his kingdom? About making disciples? About raising generations of labourers? Let’s co-labour together. We want to hear from you.
