“Both Roy and Phyllis are spiritual grandparents of thousands of people who have been blessed, touched, ministered to, discipled, equipped and sent out to the nations. We thank God for their obedience to the Lord, availability, sacrifice, example and ministry to us, and among us. They have not only left a spiritual legacy to their children and grandchildren, but have also left a tremendous spiritual legacy to their spiritual children, grandchildren and descendants in Singapore and among the nations,” Thomas Chua, National Director (The Singapore Navigators)

This is a tremendous tribute to Phylis. Thanks!!
I walked the beach area by that giant house Roy first lived in with those he was discipling decades ago. He was one of my mentors: sharp, loving, hitting at the basics that change lives. He had me teaching with him in China, Indonesia, and Singapore. He challenged me to be specific on giving the Gospel. I know hundreds of verses, but he wanted me to make sure I covered ALL the gospel, and asked where it was all mentioned together in verses. I started giving the Roman verses; he said, “no” they are pieces. Then he went over I Cor.15:1-4 with me, and I’ve made sure who Christ is, His death for our sin, burial, and resurrection are in every witness I have given since. Before, I might have left out one of these points. The world was his pastorate; eternally joyous are those who had him for one of their mentors.Phyllis touched our family also, with her hospitality as Bruce and Martha lived with them different times, and received Phyllis’ marvelous insights and staggering pacesetting. Indelible! Waylon B. Moore, Tampa,FL.
